INDIANAPOLIS, IN – October 1, 2016.  MPI Corporation has promoted Clay Jackson to Group President & COO, responsible for the leadership and performance of the Metals Group of companies held by MPI Corp.  He will assume full responsibility of the role effective October 1, after a transition period with Matthew Lesher who was hired to fill Clay’s previous position.  Clay will be based in Logansport, Indiana to be close to the headquarters of the metals related operations.

Clay Jackson was previously the President & COO of Small Parts, Inc., one of the Metals Group companies focused on supplying precision press and slide-formed metal stampings and assemblies for electrical and safety critical applications.  Clay joined MPI Corp as Vice President of Operations at Small Parts, Inc. in 2005 and a year later became President & COO of the precision metal forming operations.  Prior to joining Small Parts, Inc., Clay has held various operations management positions of increasing responsibility.
