ABC Metals acquires assets of International Metals Processing

INDIANAPOLIS, IN, November 14, 2017 – MPI Corporation, an investment holding company based in Indianapolis, is pleased to announce that on November 6, 2017 its subsidiary ABC Metals, Inc. acquired the assets of International Metals Processing, LLC, a service center and distributor of bronze, aluminum, stainless steel and steel sheets and coils.

“Our team at MPI Corp worked hard to close on this acquisition in six weeks from our initial indication of interest,” says Clay Barnes, President & CEO of MPI Corporation. “The acquisition will build upon our Metals Group business with new customers and new capabilities.”
International Metals Processing provides toll processing and value-added services to flat-rolled ferrous and non-ferrous metals in a facility of 86,400 square feet in Indianapolis, Indiana. The processes include slitting, cut-to-length sheet and coil, and the application of PVC and paper interleaf. The operation will branded as “ABC-Indianapolis.”
