Plans, coordinates, and directs quality program designed to ensure quality control and quality assurance of the production of products consistent with established standards.



  • Performs quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including vendor quality manuals and company quality records
  • Creates and maintains Control Plans, FMEA’s and Flow diagrams for all locations
  • Complies and submits PPAP packages for all locations
  • Reviews all data obtained during all quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure consistency with company policies and procedures
  • Communicates with management team issues or developments identified during quality activities and actions being taken to improve the situation
  • Provides direction to personnel engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products
  • Maintains a working knowledge of government and industry quality codes and standards
  • Designs and implements quality training programs to key personnel in conjunction with managers
  • ISO & IATF 16949 Management Representative for all locations
  • Conducts internal ISO & IATF 16949 audits for all locations
  • Plans and oversees the analysis, inspection, test, and/or integration to assure the quality of assigned product or component
  • Includes ensuring compliance to industry standards such as ASTM or other required specification
  • MSA activities for all location
  • Applies statistical process control (SPC) methods for data analysis to evaluate the current process and process changes
  • Coordinates and distributes EH&S required activities and monitors the system to ensure requirements are completed to established schedule
  • Reports out monthly PPM numbers, Customer Issues, Vendor Issues and EH&S Activities and test results



  • Investigates and responds to customer complaints regarding quality
  • Coordinates non-conforming material for disposition for all locations. Including issuing SCARS and sending samples on vendor rejects
  • Frequently generates quality and related documents for shipment to customers



  • Product and Process Documentation – Creates and updates all Control Plans, FMEA’s and Flow Diagrams in compliance with the AIAG rules
  • Analytical – Collects and researches data. Needs to be proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Problem Solving – Works well in group problem solving situations (with Production, Management and Suppliers). Must be able to utilize 8-D and 5-Why tools
  • Customer Service – Responds promptly to customer needs
  • Oral Communication – Demonstrates group presentation skills
  • Written Communication – Writes clearly and informatively. Needs to be proficient in Microsoft Word and Power Point
  • Teamwork – Contributes to building a positive team spirit and capable of leading a team
  • Managing People – Develops subordinates’ skills and encourages growth
  • Must have Internal Auditor Training Certificate with core tools inclusion
  • Quality Management – Seeks ways to improve and promote quality; Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
  • Bachelor’s degree or three years related experience
  • Ability to travel in coordinating work with our Indianapolis and Texas (El Paso and Pharr) ABC facilities and our vendors
